Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence Course
The Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence Course (TLILIC0001) is a 2 day course that is run at a comfortable pace for all students.

This course provides the knowledge to students as required by the Dangerous Goods Road Transport legislation and the Australian Dangerous Goods Code.
​
The two day course covers all aspects of the Australia Dangerous Goods Code and the relevant legislation including Classification, Marking, Documentation, Stowage and Load Restraint, Segregation and Compatibility plus the responsibilities of the individuals involved.

A Dangerous Goods Driver Licence is required for transport of dangerous goods in the following cases:

In a receptacle with a capacity of more than 500ltrs

If there is more than 500kg in a single receptacle

In the case of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC's), where the total capacity of all IBC's is more than 3000ltrs or where any IBC is filled or emptied while on the vehicle

We can conduct a Dangerous Goods Awareness Course interstate (all states) as well.
Requirements:
The following are required for the Dangerous Goods Course:
(Must bring the following on Day 1 of the Course):
- Full payment of course (If not already pre-paid)
- Applicants must have a current Victorian heavy vehicle licence
- Applicants must provide a current Medicare card (if you have one)
- Applicants must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. If you need to obtain a USI number you can get one from: https://www.usi.gov.au/
- Applicants from interstate must have a valid address in Victoria (written proof required)
On successful completion of the Dangerous Goods Course, the following needs to be sent to Worksafe:
- Applicants must obtain a Driver Commercial Health Assessment – Medical Certificate from:
